Trips abroad
The band already used to play more or less regularly in Germany in places as Gelsenkirchen, Herford and Duisburg.
But one of the best tours the band made was in 1997, to the International Jazz Festival in Birmingham, in England. In stead of Siemen, the band took Jaap de Wit Jr., from the Hot Revival Stompers, to play the drums. That weekend the band did 7 gigs of in total 21 hours from Fridaynight until Mondaymorning. Apart from playing they also had to unpack and pack the gear, drive around in the fully loaded rented van, sleep, eat and drink. Although the van was already fully packed, Jaap de Wit Jr. succeeded in adding an antique bassdrum of gargantuan proportions to the few cubic inches left. He was made an offer he couldn't refuse. If only he had asked us first...

The last gig in Birmingham on Monday 7 July 1997. 21 hours of music in 4 days,
a lot of beer, a lot of fun and a lot of droopy eyes.
Ok, pack and up to the ferry.
