The Old Fashioners even played as a streetband, as you can see on this picture. This was during the 5th Jazzfestival Enkhuizen in 1978. The band had been enforced by Jan Lammertink on bassdrum, Harry Jans on banjo, and Ko Broer on cymbals. In the early Saturday morning on 29 April 1978, the band tried to lure people to the Nieuwe Doelen to the "Musical Market", where books, records etc. could be exchanged or bought. As far as the archives and the memory of the current bandmembers go, this was the only appearance of the Old Fashioners as a street orchestra.
