After Ger Taatgen left the band a new face, and also a new sound was introduced in the band: Auke Veenstra started playing the G-banjo. Hans Blaas started playing piano, but left the band in 1978 to go to the Limehouse Jazzband, and after that to the Metropolitan Roof Orchestra. Ferry Kouwenhoven joined the band in 1978 on drums, and from the Freetime Old Dixie Jassband, where he played bass for 2 years, Edward Visser joined in.
